Su Smallen Love
Su Love is the author of six collections of poetry, some published as Su Smallen. Her work has been recognized with the Jane Kenyon Poetry Prize, a Joy Harjo prize, and international publications, fellowships, and residencies from the Jerome Foundation/Tofte Lake Center, Artist at Pine Needles/St. Croix Watershed Research Station, the Minnesota State Arts Board, the Unamuno Author Series in Madrid, Spain, and Salmon Literary Centre in County Clare, Ireland. Love was a founding member of Laurel Poetry Collective, taught in the graduate creative writing program at Hamline University, and has been a visiting artist at several colleges and universities.
