John Baird Rogers

John Baird Rogers studied creative writing in college and at The Loft in Minneapolis. His business experience in technology and biotech inform his stories. He is the founding member of Minneapolis Writers Guild, a member of Crème de la Crime, Midwest Mystery Works, and Sisters in Crime. He is a senior judge for the Royal Palm Literary Awards. He has published three books in the Mayfield – Napolitani thriller series. His short story “Blues Highway” was published in the 2013 Bacopia Review. “New Orleans Purgatorio” was shortlisted for the 2015 William Faulkner – William Wisdom prize. His third novel, Fail Deadly, was long-listed for the 2016 Grindstone Literary Novel prize.
