Lindsay Starck was born in Wisconsin and raised in the Milwaukee Public Library. She is the author of the novels Noah’s Wife and Monsters We Have Made. Her short stories and essays have appeared in Ploughshares, the New England Review, AGNI, and The Southern Review, among other places. She currently writes and teaches in Minneapolis, where she lives with her husband and her cattle dog.
